If you are debating on participating on the mud run Don't walk , RUN !
Let me give you my back story : I'm was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Grew up in the Amazon , moved to California when I was 18 and by 24 I was living in Hawaii. See so far all you know is I'm a traveling girl but my childhood was very traumatic, I was abused in all aspects as I had no mom or dad. So by the time I was 25 I went on a backpack solo trip trough Thailand , began my career in Massage Therapy and a much needed healing process that never ended and never will.
What does all that has to do with Mud Girl Run you ask ? The moment I decided to take on this experience it became another healing moment for myself. The training prior to it , the self love involved and the best part, the run in itself. Let me tell you , every single being involved in this movement, that's right a movement of love, every being has kindness and love for everyone of us and every aspect of the race is carefully watched over. The energy, the fun , conquering obstacles, the music along the way... all the way to the community shower brought to us by the amazing Dr. Bronner soap Co. That shower was a healing session in itself ! (They have private rinsing stations if that's what you fancy). So , here I am sharing all this because I officially became a Mud Girl Runner for life. There is no words to express my gratitude to the whole Mud Girl Run family, see you next Summer.
- Much love , Silvana Pettit.
